evil ARC Command changes

In-Game Name: ARC CMDR Moth

 

Suggestion: 

- Suggestion is collective, a take all or leave all thing.


1 - Nerf Jetpack (jet_jump_pack_02)

- -60% fuel capacity (SetFuelDrain from 15 to 6 (seconds))

- +20% fuel recharge time (SetFuelRecharge from 5 to 6 (seconds))


(^ goes from a 75%:25% flying time to recharge time ratio to a 50%:50% one at 6s each way ^)

- -30% strafe (sideways) velocity ('SetJetpackStrafeVelocity' from 5000 to 3500)



2 - SWEP addition to ARC command jobs (CMDR/EXO)

- +Add wrist rocket weapon to ARC command jobs (rw_sw_wristrocket)

~ Change damage to 450 - (this ofc max potential dmg if direct hit, are looking at more like 350-400dmg on average hit with AoE scaling)

~ Change RPM to 6 - (this creates a forced 10s cooldown between firing shot and being able to reload weapon, following same rule as other rockets)
 

Reason for Suggestion: 

- Jetpack receives very heavy nerf. As mentioned above would be 6s:6s split between fly time and recharge time, compared to 15s:5s split atm. This is because current jetpack is insane, if use correctly can basically infinitely fly with how long can stay in air compared to how long takes to recharge. Can be bit annoying when working with base ARC / RC on spec ops etc when we can either b-line the event in 10s, leaving them behind or just not be using our equipment to it's fullest potential. Would rather shift some of our 'equipment points' elsewhere and restrict our ranged mobility a bit.

- We want jetpack to be more of an 'ability' type thing (50% on, 50% off) in combination with the wrist rocket, which has a 10s cooldown of its own / acts as it's own ability. Would be enough to reliably get around / focus on positioning without you being able to suspend yourself in the air for ages and beam / rush for miles without landing. As also mentioned above, this also comes with a strafe velocity nerf to reduce how mechanically aids side spam strafing in air can be with gmod event latency.

- In terms of wrist rocket, is a plain simple 450dmg impact nade/rocket (which like said above is max pot. dmg if direct hit, are looking at more like 350-400dmg on average hit with AoE scaling) which we think is fair enough looking at other single firing rocket weapons that do more in the 750-1000dmg range taking into account the factors that A. other ppl with rocket weapons are meant to be / have way better explosive potential in relation to their role, B. we can fly, partially now with the heavily nerfed jetpack and C. would follow same universal 10s cooldown rule at this much lower dmg (hardcoded into weapon with rpm also).

- Way more fun playstyle for job than just having infinitely op mobility combined with only same weapon been using since day 1 ARC.
