Naval Staff
Probation Officer+:

- As a fresh Probation Officer, you will be tested on how well you can handle the responsibility of the leadership of the entire crew and the responsibility of handling tasks given to you by Naval Command or above.

- One main duty/responsibility of the Republic Navy will be to take OD and manage the ship/base, ensuring that everyone is following protocol and there is nothing wrong with the current deployment such as keeping an eye out for suspicious activity, disruptive behavior of troopers and maintaining the integrity of base systems and functions.

- Another similar duty will be to lead the crew whenever the ship/base is attacked by hostile forces or the crew has received an Assault Operation [Planetary] and require someone to relay information from Command to the rest. You will be expected to adapt to the situation effectively, ensuring there are minimal casualties and the mission is a success.

(Note: Upon becoming a member of the Republic Navy, you and your actions will be heavily inspected/observed during your time as a member. While we provide mentorship, instructions and guidance to new Republic Navy members, we still have expectations that you must meet to progress.)

When progressing up to the rank of Ensign and above, you will be given a few more responsibilities due to the dedication and results shown as a Probation Officer.

Ensign+:

- Your previous duties as a Probation Navy Officer will carry over, though you will be expected to possess similar initiative and effectiveness from your time as a Probation Officer.

- Republic Navy Members above the rank of Ensign become eligible for assignments to regiments. Once assigned, you are expected to be ready to assist your assigned regiment with officer duties & tasks [Trainings/Tryouts/Leadership].

- Republic Navy Members above the rank of Ensign are trusted to maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the different areas of the base/ship, ranging from the Bunks to the Medbay.

Naval Senior

- Upon progressing into Naval Senior, you will be expected to be more interactive with the Republic Navy and Army.

- Being brought into the Mentorship program as a Mentor, taking on one of the Naval Staff as your mentee and train them to the expected standards of a member of Republic Navy.

- The previous duties will carry over into any Naval Senior officer, along with more benefits and opportunities with your increased rank equivalency to the Army officers.

Naval Command

- When reaching Naval Command, you will become one of the few leading figures in the Republic Navy, with your duty being to manage the Naval Command and lower ranked officers, ensuring they are ready for the next steps in the Navy.

- One additional duty to Naval Command is to recognize true talent and great performance in the field, with each officer from Naval Command being able to provide troopers with ribbons and medals if they have proven to be worthy of these rewards. [A Naval Captain+ must grant the medal reward].

- The previous duties will carry over into Senior Naval Command, along with more benefits and opportunities with your increased rank equivalency to Army officers.

Admiralty

- The Admiralty are some of the highest ranking people in the crew, as they have quite a strong presence in the ship or on the base and have proven their efforts to reach such a rank and title. They work together with the Generals, making the High Command group who handle all cross-regimental situations and major changes to the regiments or in-character elements of the server.

- The Admiralty can carry out all of the previous duties listed on this forum post.

Applying for Naval:

If you are interested from Naval either from this forum post or for your own intuition, you will need to be at least SGM+ in a regiment, inform your regimental officers of your interest to the Republic Navy and then go through the application process on the forums.

Once done with the application on the forms, if you are accepted, you will have to schedule an interview with one of the Naval Command members [Lieutenant+], and answer the questions given to you with absolute honesty. If your app is denied, you may re-apply in a week's time.

After both the application and interview, you will be put through several trainings and tests to see if you are ready to continue your time in the Republic Navy, or if you are better suited in an Army position instead. When all of these are done and all end with positive outcomes, then you would have made it into the Republic Navy.

However, if at any point your process to join the Republic Navy fails, you will be sent back to your regiment at the same rank.

If you want/need assistance for when applying to Naval or if you have any questions, please feel free to speak to anyone from the Republic Navy and we'll do our best to help you.
