I believe I did a great job during my time, obviously noone is perfect and things could possibly have been done differently but nothing notably wrong.
What would you do in order to be better in a leadership position considering past experiences?
I would mainly improve on communication with regimental higher ups and the regiments themselves, in the past I would make decisions based on my opinion alone which would lead to a number of people not particulary liking some decisions made, to combat this I would ensure regimental higher ups are aware of what I am wanting to implement and attempt to make sure everyone has come to the same conclusion.
Role Evaluation
Why do you want this role, and what motivated you to lead?I want this role because I believe I can contribute alot to the community and add to the players enjoyment of the server. I am motivated to lead because I enjoy seeing players, regiments and the server grow. I thrive from being placed into a "dying" regiment and building it up to be a successful regiment. For example when I was going through the ranks of PT the regiment was pretty inactive (maybe 2-3 of us per day and maybe only one of them being in a position to host trainings), players were frustrated and didnt want to play. When I was made 1IC I created and implemented new trainings to try and bring players back and bring in new players to the regiment and it proved to be one of the most successful regiments on the server.
Why should we choose you for this position?
You should choose me for this position because of the experience I bring to the server. I have a vast understanding of what it takes to lead regiments and guide players to be the best versions of themselves within the server. I also actively try to make everything I do on the server fun within taking the seriousness and immersion out of it. This being creative and exciting trainings, leading missions and interacting with players during downtimes.
What responsibilities do you believe this role involves?
- Strong leadership - The main responsibility of this role is to be a great leader and making the correct decisions ensuring players are active, behaving correctly and performing to the best of their ability.
- Trooper development - Since this role is above the regiments players are looking upto the general teams to set the standard and guide the troopers to be the best they possibly can.
- Communication - Communication is a major responsibilty of this role, having strong communication with regiments and other administrations leads to operations running smoothly and preventing any possible conflicts before they begin.
How would you handle conflict, disputes, or disciplinary issues within your unit?
If any conflict, disputes, or disciplinary issues within my unit were to unfold I would first gather all the neccesary information on what has happend without jumping to any conclusions. I would then make my decision based on the information gathered, for disagreements with troopers I would simply talk to all parties involved and come to a peaceful resolution whilst reminding them on the standards expected of them. For more serious issues I would still follow the same information gathering to ensure I know all the details and then make a decision based on what has occured.
How would you help contribute to the branch's activity, engagement and RP quality?
I would contribute to the branches activity, engagement and RP quality by keeping things organised and running smoothly. I would host regular trainings for the branch to ensure they are up to standard to be able to lead the troopers. I would also have a consistant rotation for the general team so that they are not stuck to one regiment for a long length of time. I would make sure I am checking in with them regularly to see how they are doing and also checking in with the regiments they take charge of to ensure they are performing upto standard and doing what is required of them.
