Experience & Background

Do you have any previous leadership experience?
  • Medic Captain (Ronin Gaming)
  • Doom XO (Insomnia Networks)
  • Naval Captain (Vanguard Gaming)
  • 41st 2nd LT Green Company Ranger (Acting Lead) (Dauntless Gaming)
  • Scout Commander (Different iteration of Vanguard)

Did you make any notable mistakes in any of these positions?
As a Naval captain I lashed out at a game master in RP over an event and their rules.

What would you do in order to be better in a leadership position considering past experiences?
I would maintain much more professionalism, especially as someone of a higher rank.
I would have a higher level of patience because being hot headed in situations like my past mistake lead to consequences.
Generally I would keep much more stable and consistent communication to improve regimental behavior or morale/motivation.

Role Evaluation

Why do you want this role, and what motivated you to lead?
I enjoy scouting regiments, and I originally wanted to become the 2IC for 41st but was unfortunately stopped due to school starting back up. I enjoy leading scouting regiments, and I wish to improve the skills and training of forward scouts as best I can. I also have more time on my hands with classes coming to an end.

Why should we choose you for this position?
I have experience being an officer and leading troops (GC) in this server, as well as I am somewhat well known in the server. I believe that I can definitely help leading wolfpack, as well as providing improvements to issues that may appear in the future.

What responsibilities do you believe this role involves?
  • Maintaining a consistent level of preferably high activity.
  • Providing a bridge between high command and the troopers, maintaining constant communication.
  • Bringing a high level of discipline and maturity to a regiment while still keeping the platoon entertained.
  • Handling the logistics of a regiment and keeping it organized and easily accessible. (Managing)

How would you handle conflict, disputes, or disciplinary issues within your unit?
Most disputes can be resolved with a simple meeting between those in the conflict, and well is a mandatory reprimand or some type of punishment training, however more serious issues will be brought up as an officer team of a regiment, and further punishment outside of basic disciplinary action will be discussed before a final decision is taken.

How would you help contribute to the branch's activity, engagement and RP quality?
I would make sure that activities like trainings are consistently provided, as well as maintaining contact with the regiment regularly to remind troopers to get on. In addition, I would make sure that it becomes regular procedure for Wolfpack to let themselves me known for awaiting scouting orders in events, to provide some sort of guidance to prevent troopers from feeling lost.

Additional Information

Is there anything else you’d like to add?
I’m applying for 2IC because eventually I will go back to school, and while I’ll still be on a lot, it’ll be difficult to be 1IC unless absolutely needed, though that won’t be until August or September anyway.
