The Clone Guards

Greetings, my name is Commander Sander. In this message you will find information about my regiment, the Republics Clone Guards. I will try to explain what the regiment does during the different DEFCONs, as well as explain our loadout and specialists. Hopefully I will have answered any potential questions about the regiment, but if you have any further, feel free to contact me or any of my officers on base.

Who are the Clone Guards?

The Republics Shield, or the Clone Guards as it is more commonly known, is the Military Police Regiment of the Republic. We are the ones tasked with protecting high ranking Base Command, VIPs, Senators and alike. We are also the defenders of some of the most important locations on base, such as the Command Centre. We are the ones tasked with dealing with any security threats towards the republic, and keeping the base grounds secure from any hostiles or other threats that may compromise the republic. Being a military police unit also tasks us with dealing with any unruly troopers that wish to harm or otherwise conspire against the republic, or break the military sections and regulations.

The Loadout

The Clone Guard loadout makes the regiment able to handle any threats or attacks the Republic faces at our bases. The loadout is created to give Clone Guards the best suited equipment to deal with their tasks and keep order in the Republic.
The loadout is as follows:

Primary Weapon: DC-15A

The DC-15A is a sturdy rifle given to the Clone Guards to help us clear any area of hostiles as well as defend key locations around base and wherever we are required. The weapon is fast firing and reliable 

Secondary Weapon: DC17 - Stun Variant

The DC17 - Stun Variant is a powerful pistol given to CG to help uphold law and order. Generally CG are required to put the weapon on one of the different stun modes, ranging from 5 to 30 seconds. Usually it is restricted to 10 seconds. With this stun gun, the CG are only allowed to stun friendly troopers, since the weapons have only been calibrated to republic armor. 

Clearance Cards

The CG have Clearance cards ranging from CL1 to CL4. CL1 is given to the enlisted, CL2 is given to Non Commissioned officers as well as Shock Troopers, CL3 is given to Commissioned Officers as well as the Regimental Major as well as Executive Officer. CL4 is a privilege given to solely the Commander. 

Shield

The Deployable Shield is given to CG to secure and hold locations as well as protect VIPs and Base Command. The shield can, as suggested in its name, be deployed on the ground in DEFCON 4 and less situations that require areas to be secured.

Elastic Restraints

The Elastic Restraints are used to detain and drag criminals or other wrongdoers that go against the Military Sections and Regulations. This equipment is a vital part of the loadout, as to make sure that any threat is neutralized and kept away. 
Stun Stick

This equipment is used to push and move captives as well as keep people away from restricted areas or checkpoints when they are loitering etc. 

Scatter Shotgun

Given to Non Commissioned Officers, the scatter shotgun is a powerful weapon that has a large amount of knockback, good for keeping enemies at bay while also dealing a good amount of damage. The weapon also has severe recoil, making it quite a balanced weapon for close quarter combat. 

Dioxis Grenades

Given to Commissioned Officers, Dioxis grenades is a very deadly area-of-effect weapon utilized to contain larger areas at once, the gas it dispenses is quite useful for clearing out areas, as well as creating a barrier between the Clone Guards and any hostiles so that we may further protect vital areas or VIPs.

Shock Troopers

Who are the Shock Troopers?

The Shock Troopers are the specialization unit for the Clone Guard, they are selected from the best LCPL+ members of CG and its members have to pass a difficult tryout to join. They are highly skilled units tasked with protecting the highest ranking individuals on base. The Shock Troopers also have the first priority in hunting down hostiles utilizing melee weapons such as BX droids. To do this they are awarded a 10% speed increase, as well as a specialized rifle. The Shock Troopers also have the control of the Massiffs we have on base.

The Loadout

Primary Weapon: DC-15A (Shock Trooper)

This modified DC15A is equipped with a damage increase of 10% from the normal DC15A, as well as having an additional suppressor modification.

Electrostaff

The Electrostaff is a highly deadly melee weapon given to shock to engage with hostile melee weapon users. The staff can deal a varied amount of damage, 250, 500, or a charged attack dealing 1000 damage. Although the weapon is quite powerful, it is balanced by the fact that you need to be extremely skilled to hit with it, because it is unwieldy (the hits do not always register, making it a bit RNG).

DC15S Shock Shield

This weapon, although a bit broken, is an additional shield with a rifle so that shock can extend their shield line as well as deal damage. 

Stun Grenades

Stun grenades are calibrated to release a timed dose of electricity around them, as to incapacitate anything, and anyone that comes in the area of effect. This can keep hostiles at bay by making them unable to move, turn around, or shoot, as well as dealing a small amount of damage to them. Be warned, this grenade also affects every friendly in the area of effect.

The Military Sections and Regulations is the set of rules all Republic Military Personnel has to comply with, committing any offence will lead to consequences administered by the Clone Guards and other Administrative Personnel. The Military Sections and Regulations are subject to change.

Arrest Rules

[1.1] No abusing cuff restraint length (Cuff-abuse) when you are arrested. Stick within close proximity to the person that has cuffed you, and do not resist by walking away unless it is to avoid an obstacle that prohibits you from following the person holding your cuffs. Failure to comply with this is considered FailRP.

For cuffing someone;

[2.1] No cuffing someone without a valid reason (see Military Sections and Regulations).

[2.2] Minor regimental disputes are classed as Section 2.4 Insubordination, if it is a repeat (twice or more) offense it is to be classed as a Criminal Offence and must lead to a CG Arrest.

[2.3] No cuffing someone holding out either a weapon or any equipment (Even if said weapon is on safety)

 [2.4] ^ The above is voided if the individual is stunned, but the stun would have to follow the stun equipment rules.

Lore Characters

Lore Characters are selectable characters that any member of CG may aspire to become. They are trained to utilize their equipment to the best usage. Also giving them a set of other permissions from other Clone Guards. To become a Lore Character in CG, members have to ask Officers (2nd LT+) and complete the set of tasks created for the specific lore character they wish to become. Once they have become the lore character. They have a set of different rules they also have to abide, and different personality traits they have to fill.

Diplomatic Service Unit (DSU)

With the addition of Lore Characters, CG has also implemented a new unit designation for specifically handling Hostage Negotiations, and civilian protection. This unit would be prioritized in protecting any UNARMED VIPs such as Senators, but only when their task does NOT conflict with Shock Troopers. 

The DSU are drawn from Lore Characters who have been specifically trained in this:

My time as Commander began the 10th of April 2022, and ended the 21st of June 2022. 

I was promoted to Brigadier General, and assigned until the 24th of June 2022, when I promoted Executive Officer Jaul to the rank of Commander.
